EYEWITNESS FINGERS ED MEESE

A poem scientifically based on the poet’s opposition to the Tyranny of the Smoking Gun,
which he believes has been in place since Nixon resigned.

"I saw the sixfold spasm of his
tucked-in claws. I saw his face all leathered, stippled,
and pocked. I saw him lick some brackish
liquid from his skin. I saw this, I saw this."
The witness now looks down with
bassinet arm motions and makes
googoo eyes at his warts.
